Listín Diario reports that 172 cruise ships are booked to dock at Dominican ports from 21 October to 28 December. Director of the Port Authority Anibal García Duvergé said that 64 ships will dock at the Don Diego port, 27 at the Sans Souci port in Santo Domingo. Another 43 stops will be made in Puerto Plata, and 11 in Samaná (two at Cayo Levantado and one at Arroyo Barril). According to the Port Authority, the ships expected this year are: Shining Crown, Columbus, Veedam, Seabourn Legend, M/S European, Aida, Sun Dream, The Emerald, Bolero, Flamenco, Seabourn Pride, Triton, Ankona, Maasdam, Corona, Windstar and Albatros, Joywave, Clipper Adventurer. The CostaAtlantica and the CostaVictoria will also dock for in La Romana. These ships are handled by the shipping agents Frederic Schad, Marítima Dominicana and E. T. Heinsen.
