Casa de Campo, the largest resort in La Romana, proudly announces the good press it has been receiving. In August 2000, for the third time the popular Meetings & Conventions Magazine recognized the hotel with its "Excellent place for golf and Conventions" and awarded it the "Gold Tee Award." Hotels that compete for this award are qualified by participating guests in programmed conventions. During their stay, they observe the effectiveness of each nominated resort. Casa de Campo has also received recognition in the January "Golf Magazine." Its Teeth of the Dog Hole #7 was recognized as "one of the top 500 holes in the world." "Best Polo Vacation" magazine included the resort’s polo facilities in the June "Best of the Best 2000" listing. "Nast Traveler" ranked Casa de Campo golf as #20 among top 50 golf resorts.
