Plaza de la Salud, the advanced medicine government-owned hospital complex, announced the start of operations of the Centro Latinoamericano de Residencias Médicas de Imágenes Diagnósticas (Claremid), a Latin American medical internship program. The center has the support of the Centro de Diagnóstico, Medicina Avanzada, Laboratorio y Telemedicina (Cedimat) and the Hospital General Materno Infantil of Plaza de la Salud. Claremid will be under the supervision of the medical school of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and the Latin American Radiology Educational Consortium, that is affiliated to the Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, USA.
