The Dominican Soccer Federation Osiris Guzman announced the visit of Joseph Blatter, president of the Federation Internationale de Football Association. Coming with him are Michel Platini and Jerome Champaigne, Jack Warner (President of CONCACAF since 1990) and other leading soccer promoters. He will visit 27-28 November to observe the development of soccer in the DR and evaluate ways the Fifa can help the sport. (14 November 2000)
