The president of the Asociación de Industriales de Herrera, Antonio Espín, said that the first 100 days of the Mejia government have brought anxiety, uneasiness, and uncertainty to the productive sector. He commended the government for improving on public liberties. He said that while the President has heard businessmen, he has not listened to them. He said there is a difference between hearing and listening. In his opinion, the proposed new taxes are already affecting business operations and costs, resulting in an increase in unemployment.
