The Instituto Dominicano de las Telecomunicaciones (INDOTEL) recently inaugurated the Centro de Asistencia al Usuario de los Servicios de Telecommunicaciones, an office at the service of consumers. INDOTEL president, Orlando Jorge Mera said that the center will operate within the framework of the telecommunication law. He explained users need to first go through the regular channels offered by the individual companies prior to taking their complaints to the new office. The Assistance Center is located in the first floor of the Indotel offices at Avenida Abraham Lincoln 692. It operates from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. http://www.indotel.org.do/
