Pastoriza to be two-ways for the holidays

The Metropolitan Transport Authority accepted a petition by Roberto Pastoriza Avenue businesses to allow two-way traffic for Christmas. The Pastoriza Avenue was recently set to be East-West as part of a general reordering of traffic in the Polígono Central area of Santo Domingo. Businessmen in the area complained the measure has resulted in a 50% drop in their sales as it makes access difficult for those coming from the West of Santo Domingo. AMET accepted to allow traffic two ways from Lope de Vega to Tiradentes during the Christmas shopping period.
