Dominican Ambassador to Canada, Eduardo Fernandez Pichardo presented his Letters of Credence as Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Governor General Adrienne Clarkson of Canada on Tuesday, 16 January. The event took place at the Citadelle in the city of Quebec. Her Excellency the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson carries out Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s duties in Canada on a daily basis and is Canada’s de facto head of state.
