President Hipolito Mejia, nine months into his leadership, has shuffled managers of the National Lottery, Civil Aviation, Customs, Migration, Post Office, Digenor, Inespre, Omsa and the Commission for the Reform of State Enterprises (Crep). Anibal Amparo Garcia, who was the director of the Civil Aviation Board, was sent to direct the National Lottery. Retired General Trajano Moreta Cuevas, director of Migration, was sent to the Civil Aviation Board. Jose del Carmen Marcano, formerly president of the Commission for the Reform of State Enterprises (the privatization commission) was sent to direct the Post Office. Rafael Montilla was named president of the Commission for the Reform of Private Enterprise. Emilio Rivas, director of the Post Office, is the new deputy technical director of Customs Office, replacing Luis Abreu. Radhames Gonzalez was named deputy director at the Instituto Nacional de Estabilizacion de Precios (Inespre). Victor Manzanillo, who held the above mentioned post, is the new deputy administrator of the propane gas subsidy program, now under the so-called Social Cabinet of the government. William Soto Medina is the new deputy Minister of Interior and Police, replacing Radhames Gonzalez. Secundido Valdez Perez was named administrative deputy director of the Oficina Metropolitana de Servicio de Autobuses (OMSA), the government run bus transport company, where he replaces Alberto Paxtot. Rafael Montilla was named president of the Commission for the Reform of Private Enterprise (Crep). Alberto del Pino was appointed tourism advisor to the Executive Branch. Gaspar Polanco was named director of Digenor, replacing Luis Eduardo Tejada. Luis Eduardo Tejada was appointed to direct the Instituto Azucarero Dominicano (Inazucar), replacing Rafael Montilla.
