President Hipolito Mejia leaves this afternoon for a four-day trip to Central America. With this trip to Belize, Honduras and El Salvador, President Mejia will have visited every Central American country during the first nine months of his government. President Mejia is primarily going to attend the Central America, Belize and Dominican Republic summit on Friday with Taiwan President Chen Shui Bian, who is on an international tour. He will also meet with Prime Minister Said Musa and Governor Colville Young, and tour technical schools, farms and agroindustrial projects in Belize. In Honduras, President Carlos Roberto Reina will decorate him and offer a reception in his honor. In Honduras he will visit Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula. He is traveling to Honduras for family reasons. One of his daughters is married to a Honduran. This is Mejias 12th trip abroad since taking office.
