A Dominican consulate under Julio Pablo Reyes was created in the island of Tortola. The Oficina Consular de las Islas Britanicas will serve those interested in doing business or traveling to the DR from the British Virgin Islands, including Antigua, Anguilla, St. Kitts, Nevis, Dominica, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Vincent, Tortola and Guyana.
