The Army announced an operation involving 40,000 civilians and military planting one million fruit and wood producing trees from today through Saturday in honor of Dominican mothers. The tree-planting operation was scheduled to get started at 9 am today at El Pedregal, along Km. 22 of the Duarte Highway, in the presence of acting President Milagros Ortiz Bosch and Major General Manuel Polanco Salvador.
