Another airline to fly to DR

North American Airlines will begin flights to the Dominican Republic 16 June. Jose Ismael Jourdain, sales manager for the company in the DR, said the airline will initially fly between Santo Domingo and New York on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The airline operates one year old Boeing 757-200 (cap. 238 pax) and B737-800 (cap. 179 pax). Jordain explained that North American has a unique niche in the marketplace, providing feeder flights for EL AL Israel Airlines between JFK International Airport in New York and major US cities. In addition, the airline flies charters to the Caribbean, Mexico, South America, Europe, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Azores, the Middle East and provides charter flights for major clients like Club Med, GWV, U.S. and foreign military, as well as the White House Press Corps.
