The Department for the Protection of Children, Teenagers and the Family has plans to charge the police agents responsible for delivering a video showing a minor incriminating himself to several TV channels, in violation of Law 24-94. A 14-year-old boy is shown implicating others in connection with the Navarrete disturbances in the interior. Police Chief Major General Pedro de Jesus Candelier said all the Police did was deliver the video to TV channels. He said the stations showed it on TV without taking due precautions so the 14-year old could not be identified. Eliza Sanchez Pujols of the department said that in addition to the police agents responsible for preparing the video, the channels that showed it may also face charges.
