The General Department of Migration urges all foreigners who are illegally residing in the DR to visit their Centro de los Heroes offices to legalize their situation. The department says it is issuing the provisional residency card to all fulfilling the legal requirements in 45 days. Afterwards, the Department says it will begin enforcing the law.
