Caribbean hoteliers elected Simon Suarez to preside over the Caribbean Hotel Association. Suarez, who is executive vice president of Coral Hotels & Resorts in the DR, was elected during the general assembly of the Caribbean Hotel Industry Conference in Puerto Rico. He will lead the organization from 2002 to 2004. (12 June 2001)
