Indotel has ruled that Tricom must activate four T-1 lines purchased by Centennial so that Tricom telephone users can connect with those using Centennial service. A hearing is set for June 25th where both companies must set the final conditions for the interconnection contract. Recently, Centenial Dominicana complained that Tricom was denying them access in order to pressure Centennial for a better contract. That, they say, is in violation of the General Law of Telecommunications.
