Aerial anointing today

A small plane took off this morning at 6 am and will fly over the nation until 4 pm, anointing Dominicans with 370 gallons of blessed olive oil. The plane will follow the route from Santo Domingo, San Juan de la Maguana, Pedernales, Jimani, Elias Piña, Barahona, Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macoris, La Romana, Higuey, El Seibo, Samana, La Vega, Santiago, Nagua, and Puerto Plata. The flight is sponsored by the Iglesia Pentecostal Misionera, a Christian church. The first anointing will take place over the National Palace. “We are going to anoint the Republic, because we understand it is ill and needs to be cured by the anointing of the Lord,” Jesus Dilone told El Caribe newspaper.
