Sixty five wind surfing competitors from 14 nations in Europe and the Americas are expected to participate in the annual Cabarete Race Week starting today through Saturday 23 June. There will be slalom competitions, course racing and freestyle competitions in the men, women, and youth categories. The event abides by the rules of the Professional Association of Windsurfing and is open to professional and amateur competititors. (18 June 2001)
