Pied Piper of Hamelin

Orchestra director Amaury Sanchez and singer/performer Frank Ceara have joined forces to present “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” at the National Theater this summer. In this story, the magical flutist rids the town of Hamelin of its pesky rats by hypnotizing them. The greedy mayor and townspeople are taught a lesson when the flutist removes the town’s children too as they are put into trance with the beautiful playing. The Friday, 29 June 8:30 pm show is a benefit for the Foundation for Down Syndrome Children. There will be additional performances on Saturday, 30 June at 7 pm and Sunday, 1 July at 4:30 pm and 7 pm.
