The Chamber of Deputies passed the bill that creates the International Free Zone for Trade, Industry and Finances in the province of San Pedro de Macoris. Special areas will be set up adjacent to the Higuamo River for the free zone areas where merchandise, equipment, in puts and raw materials will enter duty free.
