Sovereign bonds approval coming soon

The president of the commission to study the issuing of US$500 million in sovereign bonds announced their approval is imminent. He argued that timing is key to the issuing. He said the senators would pass the bill that would then move on to be studied by the Chamber of Deputies. Vicente Castillo (PRD-Peravia) said that provisions would be incorporated in the bill so that the public works to be built with the money not be spread nationwide.
