Governor of the Central Bank Frank Guerrero Prats said that inflation has stayed at around 1%, after hitting a high of 2.5% in January, as a result of the start of the implementation of the tax reform package. Guerrero Prats also said that net international reserves were at US$500 million, which he said has pressured interest rates downward. He forecast inflation in June would be near 0%.
