30 day ban to radio talk show host

The Comision Nacional de Espectaculos Publicos y Radiofonia (CNEPR) suspended talk show broadcaster Alvaro Arvelo for violating rule 824. Arvelo is the lead man on the “El Gobierno de la Mañana” morning talk show. He was banned from going live for 30 days. The commission that regulates TV and radio programs recently started trying to eliminate vulgarity from radio and TV shows. Arvelo was suspended after issuing threats, curses and insults on his Wednesday morning talk show. When interviewed by the press, he refused to comment on the ban.
