Now Las Caobas Baseball Camp, a modern facility built by the Atlanta Braves in San Francisco de Macoris is offering those 12 years old or older the opportunity to check out their skills where the future talents train. Lodging is provided at the new Hotel Las Caobas and all meals can be included. The coaches are former big leaguers, including Ricardo Carty, Joaquin Andujar, Mario Melvin Soto, Julian Javier, Junior Noboa, Domingo Ramos, Pablo Peguero, Denio Gonzalez and Ernesto Borbon. Camp dates are 7-14 July, 16 July-1 August and 1-16 August. The cost is RD$5,000 for the one-week camp and RD$10,000 for the two-week camps.
