Pharmaceuticals down to minimum levels in public hospitals

Victor Diaz Alba, president of the Dominican Medical Association, urged the government to intervene to restore adequate levels of pharmaceuticals in the so-called “boticas populares”, or discount drug stores in public hospitals. Diaz says that medicine supplies have declined 90%.
