Air Santo Domingo began flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico from Santiago last Sunday, 22 July. Air Santo Domingo uses a Beechcraft commuter plane with capacity for 17 passengers. The airline operates three flights a day from the Santo Domingo inner-city airport, Herrera International, to San Juan. In addition, it operates several flights a day to Punta Cana and Puerto Plata from Herrera Airport. (27 July 2001)
