Maximo Aristy Caraballo, District Attorney for Santo Domingo, and Antonio Ramis, the president of the Santo Domingo Hotel Association, have signed an agreement for a program to prevent sexual abuse of minors in the city. The agreement establishes that the district attorney will hold workshops to train hotel staff as to the rights of minors under the Code of Minors (Law 14-94) and Law 24-97 on violence against children.
