President Hipolito Mejia signed several cooperation agreements in Argentina yesterday. As reported in El Caribe, they were: An agreement between the Dominican Army and the Gendarmeria Nacional de Argentina. A memorandum of understanding for consultations between both ministries of foreign relations. An agreement between the ministries of foreign relations for academic cooperation. An agreement between the DR Ministry of Environment and the administration of national parks of Argentina. A memorandum of understanding between the Banco de Reservas and the Banco de Inversion y Comercio Exterior Argentino. A joint statement committing to fight drug trafficking and promote the OAS Democratic Charter.
