The French company Pact Arim 93 is rehabilitating homes in the Colonial City that will be sold for RD$600,000 to RD$900,000. Those who live in the Colonial City have the first option to buy. Nelson Toca, of Pact Arim 93, said that the first group of dwellings to become available are at Padre Billini 746, Calle Vicente Celestino Duarte at the corner of Meriño and Calle Sanchez. The buildings in question have no historical significance however in some cases the antique facades are being preserved. (22 August 2001)
