Dominican Week in the United States, an annual program of events to promote the positive aspects of Dominican society, will be held this year from 20 to 29 September in Puerto Rico, Florida, New Jersey, New York and Washington, D.C. The event presents the best of Dominicana to the public through academic, cultural, business and political events. The program is part of efforts to strengthen ties between the DR and the United States. Among this year’s speakers is the Governor of the Central Bank Frank Guerrero Prats and several of the nation’s most knowledgeable businessmen and economists who will give talks on their sector’s outlook.
