El Siglo reports that the Ministry of Public Works is advancing on the paving of 56 kilometers of the Autovia del Este, the highway that links Boca Chica and San Pedro de Macoris in the southeast. The newspaper reports that Public Works brigades have intensified work on the highway so as to have it completed by 15 December.
