The National Council of the Magistracy meets today to choose three new judges for the Supreme Court. The Council will choose from 67 candidates. Those entrusted with choosing the judges are: President Hipolito Mejia, President of the Senate Andres Bautista, President of the Chamber of Deputies Rafaela Alburquerque, Senator Jose Gonzalez Espinosa, Deputy Alfredo Pacheco, Supreme Court President Julio Subero Isa and the Secretary of the Supreme Court of Justice. The event will be televised.
