Security checks at airports up

Listin Diario reported that security checks at Dominican airports have increased following recommendations made by the Federal Aviation Agency in the wake of terrorist attacks in the US. The new measures require passengers to arrive earlier for their flights.
Listin Diario also reports that state security forces increased vigilance at Dominican airports and ports to impede the DR becoming a refuge for foreigners that may be linked to the terrorist attack.
