Dominican Week suspended

The organizers of Dominican Week in the United States will travel to the City Hall of New York to present their sympathies for the tragedy in human lives and materials goods suffered following the 11 September terrorist attack, announced Luis Heredia Bonetti, leading promoter of the event. From New York, the organizers will continue to Washington, D.C. where those who promote Dominican Week will express their testimony of solidarity upon the tragedy that has affected lives and destroyed properties, in addition to providing encouragement to all to forge on the task of reconstruction and repair of the devastated areas. Spearheaded by lawyer Luis Heredia Bonetti, Dominican Week in the United States is an annual event held to promote academic, cultural, business and political aspects of the Dominican Republic.
