Flights to and from the Dominican Republic and US points are arriving and departing full as passengers affected by the recent flight suspensions resume their travel plans. News reports refer to stepped up precautions at Dominican airports. As of a Federal Aviation Agency report dated 16 September, the Las Americas, Punta Cana and La Romana airports had been certified after implementing new security measures. These are the three airports that serve the most traffic to the US.
