El Caribe reports that the US authorities have temporarily delayed the twice-a-month repatriation of Dominicans who served jail sentences in the US. The suspension will be in effect while the danger of war or new terrorist attacks prevails. The Department of Migration said the next arrival of a group of 30 has also been suspended. According to El Caribe, the US government has repatriated 2,669 Dominicans, most for drug trafficking, robbery or homicide.
