Luis Novelo, Citibank Public Affairs Officer, wrote to DR1 Daily News to explain that Citibank plans to open its flagship branch in the Acropolis Center and move the main offices to the tower next year. The tower will carry the bank’s name upon completion. Novelo clarified that the bank does not have any ties to the construction of the building. Citibank will occupy five floors in the building in addition to its commercial center branch office. According to Novelo, estimated opening date of the branch is set for the end of this year as long as safety requirements for clients, employees and visitors are met by then.
