The US Embassy has denied a news story published in El Caribe and carried in yesterday’s DR1 news that said illegal aliens recruited by the US Armed Forces and who fight in a war would automatically qualify for US citizenship. The US Embassy clarifies that only US citizens or legal residents of the US can enlist in the Armed Forces.
