The Central Electoral Board (JCE) president Manuel Ramon Morel Cerda announced the installation in New York City of a voter registration center for Dominicans interested in voting abroad during the presidential elections of 2004. Judges Luis Arias and Luis Ramon Cordero will travel 11-16 October to New York City with a staff of key JCE officers to oversee the setting up of the new office. The JCE is in charge of the civil registry in the DR and organizing the presidential, municipal and congressional elections.
