Father Thomas Keating, the Cistercian monk and former abbot of St. Joseph’s Abbey in Spencer, Massachusetts is in Santo Domingo for a series of conferences. He is the author of numerous books and articles on Christian contemplative practice and on dialogue with other religions. His conferences are scheduled to start this Friday afternoon at the Casa San Pablo Catholic auditorium on Av. Sarasota. The schedule of talks is: Friday, 5 October from 5:30 pm. to 9 pm., Saturday, 6 October from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Sunday, 7 October, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm., Monday, 8 October from 5:30 to 9 pm. The cost of the conference series is RD$1,000.
