The first Professional Men’s Tennis Tournament was scheduled to begin this morning at the Santo Domingo Tennis Club. Players from 12 countries including the DR are on hand: Venezuela, Germany, the US, Switzerland, Australia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Italy, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Israel. The DR will be represented by its tennis stars Johnson García, Victor Estrella, Rodrigo Vallejo, José Bernal and Francis Félix.
