Thousands of PRD members could be left without a vote in the upcoming party convention because they don’t have a cedula. PRD secretary Rafael Gamundi Cordero said yesterday that thousands of “perredeístas” signed up as party members with the promise they would get a cedula later but many still haven’t done so. He urged them to go immediately to the Central Electoral Office (JCE) to make arrangements for a cedula, the official identity and election card of the DR, otherwise they would not be able to vote or run as candidates at the convention.
