41% of workers are their own bosses

A study conducted by the Central Bank has found a high percentage of people work for themselves. The statistics show more than 41% of those working are self-employed, according to Hoy. About 3% are in the category of boss or active partner and 38.7% say they work on their “own account”. The same study, entitled “Labor Market 2000” also indicated an unemployment rate of 13.9% last year.
