Huberto Bogaert Diaz, the Dominican Republic’s most renowned dermatologist, died yesterday. He is recognized for his years spent fighting leprosy and other skin diseases. He founded the Dermatology Institute which offers medical care at minimal cost and he taught many Dominican dermatologists.
