Osvaldo Santana, who was the editor of El Siglo at the time of its closing last Wednesday, was appointed by the Listin Diario media group to head the Ultima Hora, their afternoon newspaper. Ultima Hora was only recently redesigned and turned into a free afternoon paper, as part of the reorganization of the Listin media group. Ruddy Gonzalez, who had been editor of the Ultima Hora, was sent to the group’s free morning newspaper, El Expreso.
