Pension funds to be fair

Persia Alvarez de Hernandez, the Superintendent of the Pension Fund Administration, assured reporters yesterday that the enrollment of workers into the system would be carried out in a fair and equitable manner. Questioned in relation to a story that appeared in yesterday?s Listin Diario, Alvarez de Hernandez said that enrollments would be handled using the highest technology, thereby ensuring that no one fund administrator would be favored over another. The Listin Diario reported that experts in the field are concerned that competing funds could be at a disadvantage if information on those enrolled in a certain program is filtered.
The head of the Fund Administration told the Listin Diario: ?[We] have not made public the enrollment contracts as a security measure.?
