Erratum

In yesterday?s DR1 News, the central government of the Dominican Government was referred to as the ?federal government.? The Dominican Republic is not a federal government, but rather a republic with a central government. The federalist ideas were dismissed in the 1855 Constitutional Convention in Moca.
Likewise, in the Friday, 10 January issue, DR1 reported on a government clarification that from Minister of Finance Jose Lois Malkum that it had invested RD$22 million into the sector over the past three years. This should have read RD$22 billion. The corrections were made on the archived DR1 news pages.
