Graduating hospitality staff

The graduation of the first 45 students of the Casa de Campo Preparatory Institute by Johnson & Wales took place yesterday. The culinary and hospitality school based in Casa de Campo graduated those students trained in the fields of restaurant, bar, kitchen and housekeeping. The school opened last year following an alliance between Casa de Campo and the Italian cruise line, Costa Cruises, which sends its ships to the La Romana dock. At any given time, between villas and hotel rooms, Casa de Campo has on site more than 7,000 workers. At the same time, Costa Cruises required 4,000 new workers for its expanding fleet.
