The Hoy-Hamilton poll shows that the PLD leads today in popularity. The February poll shows that the party has the preference of 34 percent of voters, the PRD received 29 percent of the preference, and the PRSC 23 percent. Almost a year ago, in March 2002, the PLD had 24 percent of the preference, the PRD had 40 percent and the PRSC had 26 percent.
